Stravaganza (Progressive)

Stravaganza progressive jackpot card gameStravaganza is an exciting and dynamic casino card game, enjoyed by online casino fans the world over. Similar to blackjack, Stravaganza is played with 5 regular 52-card decks.

In each hand, you will be dealt up to three cards. All cards retain their face values except for Jacks, Queens and Kings which each have a value of 10 points. Aces have a value of 1 point. The objective of the game is to beat the dealer by showing a higher point total than him.

Stravaganza Rules

The way each round of Stravaganza starts is that you must place your initial bet (the Ante). You will then be dealt 2 cards face up while the dealer is dealt 3 cards face down. Now you must put your thinking cap on by adding up the total points in your hand. If your points add up to less then five (a terrible hand) fold and you will recoup your full initial bet.

Stravaganza Pay Outs

However, if your cards add up to 6, 7, 8 or 9 (still not a great hand), click the option to recoup half your full initial bet and play on.
If your first 2 cards add up to 10 or more, you should always play on. If you play on, you can either 'Stand' on your current total or take another card. If you take another card (obviously to try and increase your total) you have to 'Raise', which means putting in another bet to match your initial bet.

After you stand or raise,
the dealer with reveal all 3 of his cards. If he is holding a red Ace, he automatically wins regardless of your hand. If he shows a red Ace in his 2nd or 3rd card, he wins your Ante and the Raise bets. If he shows a red Ace in his first card, he only wins the Ante. If the dealer does not show a red Ace, it comes down to a point count, where the highest total wins.

Stravaganza Payouts and Bonuses

If you win, you'll be paid out 1:1 on your Ante and Raise bets. If there is a tie, your bets will be returned. If you make 3 of a kind, you'll be paid a 3:1 bonus on your Ante bet. If you show three random face cards, you'll be paid a 1.5:1 bonus. Be aware that you must have made a Raise bet and been dealt a 3rd card for bonuses to apply. You'll be pleased to know that all bonuses are paid out on losing hands as well as winning hands.

Stravaganza Progressive Jackpot

To
compete for the Stravaganza progressive jackpot, you need to place an additional side bet at the start of each hand. To do this simply insert the required amount in the flashing coin slot on the table. If you make this bet and Lady Luck smiles upon you by dealing you 3 Kings of Hearts, you'll win the progressive jackpot, which has been known to reach astronomical heights.
