Playtech Progressive Blackjack

Playtech Progressive BlackjackPlaytech Progressive Blackjack has taken the game of blackjack to a new level because now not only can you win large sums of money by outsmarting the dealer as in regular blackjack, but you can also win millions of rand thanks to its progressive jackpot!

The great thing about Playtech Progressive Blackjack is that it is played by the
same rules as regular blackjack, but with one big difference - when you get certain card combinations, you'll win yourself a jackpot amount ranging from a few hundred rand up to millions of rand.

These are the card combinations that pay out
jackpot amounts in increasing order:

2 x Aces unsuited
2 x Aces suited
3 x Aces unsuited
3 x Aces suited
4 x Aces unsuited
4 x Aces (red or black) pays out the Progressive Jackpot

As with most blackjack games, in Playtech Progressive Blackjack each and
every hand is dealt from 8 decks of 52 cards each which is shuffled after every hand. The objective of the game is to beat the dealer if you can. This means making 21 (blackjack) or as close to 21 as possible without busting.

At the same time,
you always want your cards to be higher than those of the dealer. Remember that the rules of blackjack dictate that the dealer must always hit (deal himself another card) if he has 16 or less and stand (stick with his cards) if he has 17 or higher.

If you both have 17, for instance, this is known as a
push (a tie) and you get your original bet back. Beat the dealer and you get 1:1 (double your money). Get 21 (blackjack) and you'll get paid out 3:2.

You can also take out 'insurance' as a side bet, which is when you think the dealer will make blackjack (usually when his first card is an Ace or has a ten value). If you're right and he does,
you'll get paid out 2:1.

Plus you have the option to '
double' up on your bet if you think you'll make blackjack or at least beat the dealer, as well as 'split' your cards if you are dealt a pair.
